Most — if not all — of these documents can also be found on the CSLL website; however, they have been consolidated here on this page for your convenience.
Snack Schedule
Download the official snack schedule here. For each game, the parents/guardians of one child will be asked to bring a team snack for the kids to enjoy after the game. I would recommend something light and relatively quick and easy (and probably inexpensive as well). I don't know of any of any children with nut allergies on the team, but just to be safe we might try to avoid things with nuts in them. Gogurts worked pretty well last season, and they're super-easy.
Further, this schedule also contains the assignment of snack shack duty. The way CSLL works is they want the visiting team to provide one parent for the duration of each game in which their team is the visiting team. This means (theoretically) that we will need to cover approximately half of the games. I set up the schedule for snack shack duty such that you only need to cover the game for the first couple or few innings, and then a second parent will come in and spell you. I set it up like this so that you don't miss the entire game if you're assigned to snack bar duty. This worked really well last year, so I figured I'd run with it again. If you cannot make it for any of the games, please let me or Team Mom Michelle know in as far in advance as you can so we can adjust the schedule accordingly.
I arranged the schedule so that no parent would have snack shack duty AND team snack duty on the same game. Hopefully this works for everyone.
Jersey Information
The jersey and hat will be supplied by the league. I will be receiving these on picture day, so all you need to do is get the following:
Any sports shop in town will have these things, but some recommendations are: Play-it-Again Sports in Soquel, Jerry's Sports in Santa Cruz, and Big 5 in Capitola. Click here to download print out the list of the things you'll need.
Volunteer Application Form
If you plan on being a part of on-field activities that involves coming into contact with the kids in any way, then you must download and complete the volunteer form. You can complete the form and give it to the team mom or me; you may also send it to the league officials as well. It's just some basic background check stuff, and I have to do it every year. → PDF here (1000KB)
